Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and related data in Mahalle Maçı (developer/operator: Caner Güler). You only need an account to request deletion; guest (anonymous) players can delete their data too.
1. Delete in the app (recommended)
The fastest way is the delete button inside the Game:
- Open the Game.
- Tap the Menu (☰) button at the top right.
- Tap "Delete account".
- Confirm both confirmation dialogs.
As soon as you confirm, your account and data are permanently deleted from the server; this cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by e-mail
If you cannot access the app, write from your registered e-mail address to iletisim@mahallemaci.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We complete requests within 30 days at the latest.
3. What is deleted
When you delete your account, all of the following personal and game data is permanently deleted:
- Your account record (e-mail, username, authentication account).
- Your neighbourhood/club state: squad, in-game currency (coins), buildings, level, missions, settings.
- Your technical telemetry record (device information, approximate location derived from IP).
- Your online status, open match and player-transfer offers, transfer market listings, notifications and push notification records.
- Your league/points records.
- All local progress stored on your device (cleared automatically when you delete in the app).
4. What is kept, and for how long
A few limited records may be kept for legal obligations, security and fair play (preventing cheating and fraud):
- Audit/moderation records (e.g. abuse reports, administrator action logs): kept for 12 months at most to prevent fraud and abuse, then deleted.
- Played match records: a match is a shared record of two players and is deleted automatically about 6 hours after it ends (it is not kept permanently). In that short window it contains only user IDs and display names; afterwards it is removed with all its data.
These records are never used for marketing and are kept only for legal/security reasons. They are deleted automatically when the retention period ends.
